Curriculum

Toddlers are given more time to explore and develop the curiosity that surrounds their world, while preschoolers are challenged more academically. Preschoolers who have a second language background or who have been in the program for awhile will be in the level 2 class while students new to the target language will be in the level 1 class. Language assessments will determine the placement of the children.

Beibei Amigos Language Preschool® believes that children learn both through exploration and curiosity along with teacher directed instruction. We believe that children learn at their own pace and learn best when the environment is fun and engaging.

Beibei Amigos Language Preschool® teaches a preschool curriculum using an immersion education model. Classes are taught using the target language throughout the entire school day. The curriculum is driven by literacy skills using themes to teach. The academic blocks consist of phonics, word work, songs, dramatic play, science, math, calendar, read alouds and music & movement.

The academic blocks are from 9:00 am-11:30 am and 2:00 pm-4:30 pm and are divided into literacy blocks: Circle Time, Story Time, Language & Literacy, Centers, and Music & Movement.
